Open Windows in "audit mode"

This guide will show you how to open Windows in audit mode. The helpdesk might want you to do this when you have a new computer that needs to be enrolled in your company.

  1. Select your region or country

     

  2. Select your keyboard layout

     

  3. If you want to add a second keyboard layout

     

  4. Access the Network (wait for reboot)

     

  5. Press CTRL+SHIFT+F3 or CTRL+SHIFT+FN+F3 (wait for reboot).

  6. Windows reboots and starts the device into audit mode.

  7. Open Internet Web Browser and download Team Viewer: TeamViewer

  8. Start the Team Viewer application and send the TW ID/Password information to Helpdesk.

  • Make sure the device is charging during the process.

  • Don’t turn off the device

  • Don’t turn off the Team Viewer application

  • Don’t touch the device during the process

You are done! Grab something to drink, Helpdesk will inform you when the process is complete.
