Disclaimer
For those of you who previously had a local account, you will get a new profile. This means that some configurations saved on your local profile will not be available. Your local files in My documents, Desktop, Photos, Favorites and Downloads will also not be visible (Unless they are backed up with OneDrive).
If you want to keep any files, copy them to c:\temp (create this folder if it does not exist). You can now log in with the new profile and access your files from there. The old profile will not disappear after you log in with the @domain.com account. You can also configure OneDrive to back up your Documents, Pictures and Desktop folders (This may take some time to sync though depending on the amount and size of your files).
