Combined Security

Combined security feature both "Self service password reset" (SSPR) and "Multi-Factor Authenticator" (MFA) from a single registration

When Combined security is active, you will get a message as shown below during your next logon:

  1. By default you will get the asked to use the authenticator app from Microsoft, start by downloading the application:

     

  2. When you are there fill out the form to get a link to the application:

     

  3. Once you've installed the software proceed to the next step:

     

  4. With the application running click on the "3 dots" in the corner, and choose "add new account" :

  5. Choose "Work or school account" :

     

  6. Scan the code or enter it manually:

     

  7. Approve the connection and proceed:

Password reset

  1. To restore your password go to : https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com/

  2. Select which account to restore.

  3. Fill out the form:

     

  4. Pick "I forgot my password" :

     

  5. Select your method and proceed with your verfication code:

     

  6. Fill out your new password:

     

  7. All set, well done!
