Set transport rule for Shared mailbox

This guide shows how to set up mail rules for your shared mailbox in Outlook, so you can automatically sort emails or manage them more efficiently.

Instructions

 

  1. Enter the settings by clicking the cogwheel in the top-right corner:

  2. Go to Email → Rules → Select which mailbox you want to apply the rule to → click “Add new rule“:

  3. Give the rule a name, add a condition such as “Emails from this sender“, and then an action such as “Move to this folder“. Don't forget to press save once you’ve entered all the info.
