AzureVPN Install, Connect and Common Issues

Here is some information on how to install and connect to your VPN yourself, as well as common problems that may arise.

AzureVPN is the VPN program that is standard for Enzure customers.

Install AzureVPN via Microsoft Store

1. Open the Microsoft Store app in Windows or go to their website https://apps.microsoft.com/ and search for “Azure VPN Client”.

2. Ensure that the app looks like the image below and click “Get”.

   1. If you are on the website, it will download an .exe file as shown in the image below:

   2. When you open it, it will automatically connect to the Microsoft Store and install AzureVPN. See the image:

3. Then search for the app in “Windows Start” to launch AzureVPN.

Connect via AzureVPN

1. Start the app and click on “+” in the lower left corner of the window.

2. Click on “Import”

3. You need to import a VPN profile to connect to your network; it is a file with details on where AzureVPN should connect.

4. Now you must locate your AzureVPN profile. Select the file and then click open.

5. Click on Save.

6. Now the connection is imported into AzureVPN. Click “Connect” to connect to the Network.

7. Enter your account details to authenticate yourself.

   Open

   

8. Once you have successfully logged in, you will be automatically connected.

Common Problems

• Ensure that you are connected to the internet and that it is stable.

• Ensure that you have permission to connect with VPN; certain permissions may be required to connect with VPN.

• If you are outside your office's national borders, the network may block connections from abroad if you are on vacation in, for example, Spain.
