Unlock locked Microsoft account

This guide explains how to unlock a locked Microsoft account. Follow the steps to verify your identity and regain access to your account, ensuring you can resume using Microsoft services without any issues.

  1. Go to: Microsoft account and sign in

  1. Select “Next” to start unlocking your account

  2. Enter a phone number you can access

  3. Click “Send code”

  4. Enter the access code you have recieved through SMS

  5. Click “Submit”

  6. Your account has now been unlocked

  7. Click “Continue” to sign in to your account

  8. Sign in to you account

If you suspect that someone has tried to log in to your account, change your password

  1. Click “Change password”

  2. Enter a new password

  3. Confirm the new password

  4. Click “Send”
