Wi-Fi Connection

This guide lists different actions you can take when your device is having trouble connecting to Wi-Fi.

The pictures are in swedish, button layout is the same


Make sure Wi-Fi is turned on

  1. In the search bar at the bottom of your screen, type “Settings”

  2. Open settings

  3. Open “Network & Internet”

  4. Make sure Wi-Fi is turned “On” & connected to the right Network

Done!


Check Airplane Mode

  1. In “Settings” under “Network & Internet”, ensure Wi-Fi is turned “On”

  2. Ensure Airplane mode is turned “Off”

Forget and reconnect to the Wi-Fi network

  1. In “Settings” under “Network & Internet”

  2. Open “Wi-Fi”

  3. Open “Manage known networks”

  4. Find the network in the list

  5. Click “Forget”

  6. At the top left corner of the “Settings” window, click the “Back” arrow

  7. Open the list of “Available networks”

  1. Find the network in the list

  2. Click “Connect”

  3. Enter password

  4. Click “Connect” again

  5. Make sure your connected

Done!


Check for Windows updates

  1. In “Settings” open “Windows Update”

  2. Click “Search for update”

  3. Download and install any new updates. You might have to restart your PC to complete certain updates

Restart your PC

  1. Select Start
