Wi-Fi Connection
This guide lists different actions you can take when your device is having trouble connecting to Wi-Fi.
The pictures are in swedish, button layout is the same
Make sure Wi-Fi is turned on
In the search bar at the bottom of your screen, type “Settings”
Open settings
Open “Network & Internet”
Make sure Wi-Fi is turned “On” & connected to the right Network
Done!
Check Airplane Mode
In “Settings” under “Network & Internet”, ensure Wi-Fi is turned “On”
Ensure Airplane mode is turned “Off”
Done!
Forget and reconnect to the Wi-Fi network
In “Settings” under “Network & Internet”
Open “Wi-Fi”
Open “Manage known networks”
Find the network in the list
Click “Forget”
At the top left corner of the “Settings” window, click the “Back” arrow
Open the list of “Available networks”
Find the network in the list
Click “Connect”
Enter password
Click “Connect” again
Make sure your connected
Done!
Check for Windows updates
In “Settings” open “Windows Update”
Click “Search for update”
Download and install any new updates. You might have to restart your PC to complete certain updates
Done!
Restart your PC
Select Start
Select On/Off button
Select “Restart”
Wait for the device to restart
Done!
